At the WorkLab, we aim to understand how people can work at their best while staying mentally healthy. We focus on job content, work environments, and the sense of connection people feel at work. Our research looks at motivation, including work addiction, and its effects like engagement, burnout, and performance. We also explore how individuals in specific groups—such as those with health issues, disabilities, job insecurity, or from marginalized communities—stay motivated and resilient. Lastly, we study how supportive leadership, workplace culture, and resources help these individuals succeed.
