How can young people with a work disability participate in paid jobs in a meaningful and sustainable way? Meaningful work aligns with their abilities and preferences, provides adequate challenges, helps them learn and grow, and meets their psychological needs. Sustainable work ensures they can continue working in a healthy way long-term. We aim to answer questions such as: What kind of interventions are currently used to support meaningful and sustainable work for young persons with a work disability? How do stakeholders – such as young persons with a disability, supervisors and employers – evaluate these interventions? Are interventions successful in promoting labour participation among this target group? And do these interventions result in meaningful and sustainable work?
